This is Mike, growing his sponsored moustache, in the cause of Prostate Cancer Awareness (as part of the international Movember campaign). Did you know that prostate cancer kills nearly as many men as breast cancer kills women? Yet look at the difference in the profiles of the two diseases. Let's get it out in the open and talk about it.

Mike has now participated in the British Heart Foundation's London to Brighton Bike Ride four or five times. Despite his advancing age, and the fact he doesn't exactly exercise regularly, he has managed the 54 miles in very respectable sub 4 1/2 hours times and has raised around £200 for the BHF on each occassion.
